Robert Lewandowski insists he’s still raring to go for Barcelona at the grand old age of 36.
The striker has just enjoyed his best goalscoring season for the Catalans, bagging 42 goals in all competitions and says he still wants more.
> “I’ve won more than 30 titles in my career. But I’m ready for more,” he told Bild.
>
> “I’ll stay next season. Right now, all I have on my mind is Barcelona. Our team will be even better next season.
>
> “I feel very strong physically. I check it constantly: currently, my biological age is 30. I think it’s not bad at all. That corresponds to how I feel.
>
> “In the end, it’s about what my heart and my head tell me.”
Lewandowski will turn 37 over the summer but looks set to be first choice in attack once again for Barcelona in the 2025-26 campaign.
[Deco has already confirmed the club aren’t looking for a new striker](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/5/31/24440666/we-already-have-lewandowski-deco-says-barcelona-not-in-the-hunt-for-viktor-gyokeres) at the moment, but a replacement for Lewandowski will be needed at some point.
