With Liverpool and Manchester City linked with several big moves, Arsenal fans will be counting on Andrea Berta to deliver in the summer as well.
While Berta has been proactive since joining Arsenal, the Emirates faithful will only herald his efforts if he manages to address the problem areas in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Mikel Arteta was upset in January after no attacking reinforcements were brought in to reinforce his squad.
However, it seems like moves are being made to keep the Arsenal boss feeling at ease about his squad.
Jurgen Klopp was “impressed” by Arsenal target Benjamin Sesko
One of them is the Gunners’ longstanding target, Benjamin Sesko.
Andrea Berta has held talks to sign Sesko with RB Leipzig.

The good news for Arsenal is that Sesko, who Leipzig could sell for £59 million has an admirer of his in Jurgen Klopp, who said via the Metro in February: “I was pretty impressed, he played a good game. He’s a good player anyway.”
Jurgen Klopp continued: I’ve actually known him for a while, I knew him already when he was at Salzburg. I think we played a friendly game here when he was very, very young.”
“I was really impressed. I thought, where do they get all these players? Ridiculous.”
Why Mikel Arteta loves Benjamin Sesko
Sesko has 39 goals and eight assists to his name in 87 appearances for Leipzig.
BENJAMIN SESKO STATS LAST SEASON
STARTS 87
GOALS 39
ASSISTS 8
Registering 47 goal involvements in 87 appearances for RB Leipzig, the Slovenian’s numbers make for encouraging reading.
Arsenal love Sesko and so does Mikel Arteta as the club’s overall aim is to sign a striker who is physically imposing and has room to grow as a player.
Considering both Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp rate Sesko highly is a massive plus for Arsenal.
Both managers are some of the greatest minds the game has had to offer across world football.
Whether Sesko lives up to the promise he has shown remains to be seen.
