Tottenham have stepped up their managerial search, with the club now holding direct talks with Brentford head coach Thomas Frank as uncertainty looms over Ange Postecoglou’s future.
A decision on the man in the Tottenham dugout is expected to be reached in the coming weeks, as Ange Postecoglou’s future remains under scrutiny.
In fact, Football Insider have already stated that the Tottenham hierarchy has reached a conclusion on Postecoglou’s fate, with the outlet reporting that the Australian is expected to be sacked.
Tottenham continue to be linked with managers both in the Premier League and abroad, with new reports now revealing the man who appears to be top of the Lilywhites’ list.

Tottenham hold talks with Thomas Frank amid Ange Postecoglou uncertainty
Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato has now revealed that Tottenham have had direct contact with Thomas Frank this week, and that the Danish manager has spoken with the club about their project and some of the transfer targets for the summer.
Tottenham are said to be considering several candidates in the event that Ange Postecoglou is dismissed, and Frank is believed to be high on their shortlist.
He tweeted: “Understand Tottenham had direct contact with Thomas Frank this week. The Danish manager talked with Spurs about the project and some transfer targets for the summer. Tottenham are considering several candidates if Ange Postecoglou is sacked but Frank is high on the list.”

Why Spurs are keen on Brentford manager Frank
It was only revealed last week that Brentford are beginning to grow concerned that Spurs could attempt to poach their key man this summer.
Thomas Frank has proven himself to be a top-quality manager during his time in England, having guided Brentford to top-ten finishes in two of the last three Premier League campaigns.
It was also recently revealed why Tottenham hold the Brentford boss in high regard. According to reports, Frank is firmly in the frame for the job as his success in developing young players at the Gtech Community Stadium appeals strongly to the club’s long-term project.
