Exclusive: How Manchester United now feel about Bruno Fernandes as Al-Hilal prepare to break the Pro League transfer…

TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Al-Hilal are preparing a record-breaking offer for Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.

Fernandes has been strongly linked with Al-Hilal, with the Saudi side strongly keen on luring him to the Saudi Pro League.

Saudis have made a jaw-dropping offer to Fernandes that will see him earn a staggering £700,000 per week tax-free in a package worth around £200m over three years.

It was reported that they have given the Manchester United captain a 72-hour deadline to decide as they want to secure his signing before the Club World Cup.

However, TBR Football understands that the deadline has now been extended.

Al-Hilal prepared to break Pro League record to sign Bruno Fernandes

TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has revealed that Al-Hilal are prepared to break the Pro League transfer record by paying £100m for the Portuguese star.

They are also prepared to make Fernandes one of the highest-paid players in world football.

Man United have no intention of selling Fernandes, a stance they have maintained up till now and conveyed to the player’s entourage.

While convincing United remains a significant challenge, TBR Football understands that Al-Hilal are confident they can eventually strike a deal.

However, they will not approach the club until they receive the green light from Fernandes himself.

Sources suggest Al-Hilal are pushing to secure a move before the start of the tournament, but even if a deal cannot be done in time, they are expected to continue their pursuit.

Ruben Amorim on Bruno Fernandes’ future

Ruben Amorim is preparing for a major squad rebuild at Manchester United this summer, with a host of high-profile departures expected.

The likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Jadon Sancho are all tipped to leave, with Amorim already instructing Garnacho to find a new club.

However, there is one key figure the Portuguese manager is determined to keep and it is Fernandes.

Despite the strong interest from the Saudis, both the club and Amorim are unwilling to part ways with their captain.

Speaking recently, Amorim made it clear that Fernandes is not leaving Manchester United anytime soon. He said: “Sometimes, the frustration that you see, everybody sees and say maybe that it’s not a good thing in a captain, it’s a sign that he wants this so bad. So, this is the kind of player we want.

“And he’s not going anywhere, because I already told him!”
