Nottingham Forest are keen to sign a number of players this summer, with a busy summer transfer window expected to be on the horizon.
Igor Jesus looks likely to move to Forest. He is set to join the football club from Botafogo after the Club World Cup, where he will try to win one final piece of silverware with his current team.
Other players have been linked, with Jaka Bijol also in the sights of Forest. He has been on the radar for a little while and could leave Udinese this summer as they look to raise some funds.
The future of Morgan Gibbs-White is up in the air, with Manchester City keen. He might leave if the price is right for Forest to consider selling, although a departure won’t be actively sought by the player.
Forest have a contingency plan should the number 10 choose to leave the City Ground. It involves a Manchester City star, and it feels like he’d be a useful signing if he could be signed.

Matheus Nunes is one of the fastest Premier League players
The player signed by City from Wolves for £53 million could be allowed to leave this summer, with Forest keen to sign Nunes.
The Portuguese performer has been a utility man for City since arriving at the club and he’s failed to really hold down a position in the first team on a consistent basis under Pep Guardiola.
Nunes has now been part of a list compiled at the end of the season to acknowledge the quickest players in the Premier League, with the player finishing second behind Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven.

The player clocked a top speed of 22.82mph in the Premier League last season, with Anthony Elanga just behind him in the top five, as released by BBC Sport, with his top speed 22.78mph.
Nunes would be a quality signing for Forest
The 26-year-old would be a very good addition to the Forest ranks, given that he boasts Champions League experience that he could bring to the table at the City Ground.
It’s not clear where Forest would view Nunes playing, given that he’s played in so many positions during his time with City, and that would give Nuno Espirito Santo food for thought.
Nunes clearly boasts a lot of pace, however, and with counter-attacking football very much the order of the day for Forest, his injection of quality in that sense could make him perfect.
Given that he cost City £53 million, landing him might not be easy, but if Forest can get this one over the line, it could prove to be a very useful addition indeed.
