Everton are facing a huge summer, and it has now become clear which positions the club will prioritise.
2025 has been a great year so far for the Toffees, with David Moyes returning to the club in January and having an amazing impact.
In the end, Moyes kept Everton up with ease.
Everton’s haul of 48 Premier League points was impressive, with Moyes accruing 31 of those – that tally would have seen the Toffees safe by six points.
Attention has now turned to the summer, and there is a lot of work to do for The Friedkin Group, Angus Kinnear, the recruitment team and Moyes.
Earlier today, it was shared which positions Everton are going to give the most attention to.

Fans are expectant heading into the summer.
The club are heading into a new era now, and it will be extremely important for TFG to have a good first summer window in charge.
Carlos Alcaraz has already been confirmed as a permanent signing. Although some Everton fans are confused Alcaraz has only signed a two-year deal, it is a positive move by the club.
Now, Everton will make more additions – and Sky Sports have shared four positions the club will make a priority.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Everton’s right side will be on the agenda. The club want a new right-back and a new right winger, with the likes of Ashley Young, Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom all departing.
They also want a central midfielder, with Orel Mangala heading back to Lyon and Abdoulaye Doucoure leaving as a free agent.
And finally, a striker is of huge importance.
Sky say that almost all positions will be on the agenda for strengthening, but these four positions are of the utmost importance.
Everton fans can expect cash to be splashed in summer transfer window
It has been a tough past few years for Everton, with PSR having really hampered the club.
But Everton have come through the dark times and can now look to the future – and the feeling is that Moyes will have money to spend this summer.
Earlier this year, it was reported The Friedkin Group have promised Moyes a healthy transfer budget going into the summer.
That is encouraging, but Everton must ensure due diligence is done on every single target.
Spending big does not guarantee a player will succeed at a club – it’s all about identifying the right players who’ll fit in with the plan.
