The dates for the Premier League summer transfer window have been confirmed, with a twist to the normal opening times meaning there will be two different windows.
The post-season period will see clubs able to sign players and strengthen their squads ahead of the 2025/26 season.
However, due to the new-look FIFA Club World Cup, the window will open, close, and then reopen and close again after the new Premier League campaign has started.
Here’s all you need to know about the changes and the key dates.
When does the summer transfer window open and close?

It will remain open until Tuesday, June 10 due to an "exceptional registration period" relating to the Club World Cup, which starts on June 15.
The window will then reopen on Monday, June 16 and will close on Monday, September 1, two weeks after the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Chelsea are in Group D at the Club World Cup with Flamengo, Esperance de Tunis and a third club yet to be determined, after Club Leon were removed over multi-club ownership regulations. Manchester City are in Group G with Wydad AC, Al Ain and Juventus.

The Premier League 2025/26 season gets started on Saturday, August 16.
That means the summer transfer window will be open during the first two weeks of the season.
The first international break for World Cup qualifying is on September 1.

Alonso's side take on Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal on June 18 in Miami in their first game of the Club World Cup.
With a transfer window opened earlier than usual to accommodate pre-Club World Cup transfers, Alexander-Arnold is free to play in the competition for Los Blancos.
FIFA have given a window between June 27 and July 3 when teams at the Club World Cup can register a maximum of two new players.
