According to Jake Fischer of The People's Insider, Minnesota has reached out to at least one Eastern Conference team to potentially help facilitate a blockbuster trade involving Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant.
Earlier reports suggested the Timberwolves are targeting an "alpha" player this offseason, with Durant emerging as their primary target.
Despite entering his 18th NBA season, Durant remains one of the game's premier scorers. He averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists last season for Phoenix.
