A number of our players are set to represent their countries as international football returns this month.
World Cup qualifiers are on the agenda for some – including Richarlison, who has been recalled to the Brazil national team for the first time since March, 2024 – while Pedro Porro’s Spain will contest the final stages of the UEFA Nations League.
Elsewhere, there’s a **[first senior Republic of Ireland call-up for goalkeeper Josh Keeley](https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2025/may/academy-keeley-earns-first-republic-of-ireland-call-up/)**, while his fellow Leyton Orient loanee Jamie Donley retains his place in the senior Northern Ireland squad after earning his maiden call-up earlier this year.
Guglielmo Vicario (Italy) and Dane Scarlett (England Under-21s) have withdrawn from their respective squads.
The finals of the Under-21 and Under-19 European Championships will also take place this month. Archie Gray, Wilson Odobert and Mathys Tel will all hope to feature – they’re currently included in larger pre-tournament squads for England and France respectively – while Mikey Moore and Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny, the latter called up from standby this week, will be with England in the Under-19 competition.
Last month, youngsters Malachi Hardy, Jun’ai Byfield and Luca Williams-Barnett were part of the England Under-17s side that finished third in Group B at the European Under-17 Championship. Club team-mate Leon Myrtaj represented hosts Albania at the tournament – they finished fourth in Group A.
