Training Report: FC Barcelona’s Marc-André ter Stegen talks comeback to Germany; Jonathan…

FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen is back with the German national team and is the No. 1 netminder on the depth chart.

For Ter Stegen, it has been a longtime coming, though he does not want to make any of this about him.

“In the end it’s about having maximum success as a team. I want to play my part in that and perform to my best level. It feels good to have the backing of the coach and the team, that makes the comeback easier,” Ter Stegen said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Bisseck out, Kehrer in

Like every other Germany coach from the last decade, Julian Nagelsmann can’t quit Thilo Kehrer.

Yann Bisseck picked up an injury during Inter Milan’s 5-0 destruction at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and has been replaced by Thilo Kehrer (via @iMiaSanMia):

With Antonio Rudiger and Nico Schlotterbeck already out, a lot of the weight for the backline’s performance will fall on Bayern Munich center-back Jonathan Tah.
