Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has been busy since retiring from the NFL in 2016.
The two-time Super Bowl champion started his own entertainment company in 2020 called Omaha Productions, which produced the college basketball docuseries "Full Court Press," featuring Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.
But Omaha Productions' biggest show, "Manningcast," is ESPN's alternative to "Monday Night Football." It features Peyton and his younger brother, former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.
During the 2024 NFL season, former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick served as the show's first-ever weekly guest, just one season after his retirement. However, with his new job, he may not be able to return.

In the middle of the 2025 NFL Playoffs, Belichick landed a five-year deal to become the next head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels. This will mark the six-time Super Bowl winner's first time coaching college.
At the end of May, Peyton Manning participated in the Memorial Tournament pro-am, a celebrity golf event featuring sports figures such Steph Curry and Nick Saban. In an interview with 97.1 The Fan at the tournament, Peyton Manning said he doesn’t expect Bill Belichick to return to “ManningCast” now that he has a new job.
“Obviously, [Belichick] seems busy right now coaching college football,” Peyton Manning said. “So, he won’t be back this year. He’ll be hard to replace, like, I thought his insight was great."
Peyton Manning also mentioned some others he may want to bring onto his show.
"But we’ll try to probably go back to, kind of, rotating guests and, you know, having coaches and players, which I always like their insight, but also the actors and musicians that, you know, the common criteria to be a guest is you gotta love football," he added. "And I love, and Eli and I both love, being around people who love football as much as we do in all different walks of life.”
The fifth season of "ManningCast" will likely kick off in Week 1 on Monday, September 8, when the Minnesota Vikings take on the Chicago Bears.
