Barcelona manager Hansi Flick says Lamine Yamal is “a genuis” but he still needs to work hard to stay at the highest level.
Yamal is still only 17 years of age but has already won La Liga and the Copa del Rey with Barcelona and the Euros with Spain.

> “Yes, he’s a genius. He’s only 17, and we have to help him. I hope he wants us to help him too, that we can take care of him, because he’s very young and everything seems so easy right now, but it isn’t,” he told the club’s media.

> “If you want to play at the highest level for the next 15 years, you have to train very well and be very mentally strong. Lamine is smart and intelligent; it’s good that he enjoys all this, but you also have to work and work. Talented players have to work too.”
Yamal is now back with the Spain squad and preparing for the chance to lift another trophy. La Roja are back in action next week in the Nations League Final Four.
