Blackburn Rovers attacker Igor Tyjon is on the radar of Arsenal, according to journalist Alan Nixon on his Patreon page.

Tyjon, 17, is highly-rated by the Lancashire outfit and is being tipped for a bright future in the game. He is under contract at Ewood Park until June 2026.
In this latest update regarding his situation, reporter Nixon has claimed on Patreon that he is wanted by Arsenal. The Gunners are believed to be willing to pay £1million plus add-ons to try and snap him up.
Blackburn Rovers are in the hunt for some new faces ahead of the next campaign. Their boss Valerien Ismael said last month, as per the Lancashire Telegraph: “It is clear because, as I say, we are missing some profiles I would like to have in the team. We will have the possibility to add that but we need that stability. The work we put already into the squad over the last three months, you want to keep it and not to start over again and over again. That is why this is our idea for the next season.”
Blackburn Rovers attacker Ivor Tyjon eyed by Arsenal
Blackburn Rovers handed Tyjon a scholarship deal last summer. Manchester United were keen on the Rovers ace last year, as per The Sun, but he ended up staying put.

Tyjon rose up through the academy at Rochdale before switching to his current club. He has since risen up through the ranks and played for the U21s at the age of just 15.

The teenager has since become a key player for the development squad and has enjoyed plenty of game time. In addition, he has also featured on a couple of occasions for the first-team now and has bags of potential.
What now for Ivor Tyjon at Blackburn Rovers?
Blackburn Rovers won’t want to lose Tyjon, especially at such a young age. Rovers were able to fend off interest from Manchester United but it remains to be seen at this stage whether they will be able to do the same now with Arsenal.
It would be hard for them to stand in the way of a switch to the Gunners. Mikel Arteta’s side finished 2nd in the Premier League table this past term behind Liverpool and will be aiming to mount another push for top spot next year.
