Liverpool may have just clinched the Premier League title, but they're now looking to defend it by reshaping their squad for Arne Slot.

The Reds have already made one signing and are well on their way to another, with the transfer window having only opened a day ago. Attacking right-back Jeremie Frimpong has joined Slot's side following his predecessor Trent Alexander-Arnold's departure to Real Madrid.

Bayer Leverkusen's attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz is expected to be the next Reds deal to be finalised in the coming days. However, the business might not stop there, as goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher's future needs to be sorted out amidst the arrival of Georgian stopper Giorgi Mamardashbvili, with the Irishman looking likely to move to Brentford.

Defender Ibrahima Konate will soon enter the final year of his contract too, with a decision needed if Liverpool want to avoid a repeat of last season's situation with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold. Speculation over Luis Diaz's future is also rife as interest from Saudi Arabia has emerged, along with Barcelona, for the Liverpool winger. Here's all the latest transfer news and rumours from Anfield.

Joao Pedro fee

Brighton's Brazilian striker Joao Pedro is in demand this summer

Brighton are reportedly ready to sell striker Joao Pedro if they receive a bid worth £70million. The 23-year-old is believed to be attracting interest from Newcastle, Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Pedro's reputation has been on the rise since he moved to Brighton from Watford in 2023, scoring 30 goals in 70 appearances across all competitions for the Seagulls. Reports suggest that Brighton are open to letting Pedro go, but they will stand firm on their asking price.

The forward is tied down until 2028, so Brighton aren't in a rush to offload him, although Pedro did stir up some drama last season. The Brazilian was benched by gaffer Fabian Hurzeler after a row with team-mate Jan Paul van Hecke towards the end of the season.

Liverpool's bid for Kerkez on the horizon

Reports suggest that Liverpool are set to table an offer for Bournemouth ace Milos Kerkez in the coming days.

The Cherries are holding out for over £40m for the full-back who has been at the Vitality Stadium for two seasons.

The Hungarian international is rumoured to have already given the thumbs up to the move to Anfield, reports the Mirror.

The 21-year-old is eager to test his mettle at a higher level and could soon be vying with Andy Robertson for a spot in Slot's first XI alongside international team-mate Dominik Szoboszlai.

With a deal for Wirtz nearing completion, there's no sign of Liverpool slowing down their transfer activity. The Reds still aim to rope in as many as four players this summer.
