Arsenal FC forward Kai Havertz is sad to see the departure of Bayern Munich legend Thomas…

Bayern Munich forward/midfielder, jokester, vice-captain, soul or maybe just Raumdeuter, Thomas Müller is leaving the club. His goodbye has made quite a few people sad including Arsenal FC forward Kai Havertz. Havertz shares a similar experience with Müller in that they both have the honor of scoring in a UEFA Champions League final. Havertz’s goal proved to be the winner while Müller’s a footnote in a heartbreaking defeat.

Per @kicker via @iMiaSanMia, Harvertz mentioned his feelings on Müller departure: “His farewell makes me extremely sad because Thomas is someone I’ve known for a very long time - We played together in the national team for six years.”

He added what Müller’s loss means to the Bundesliga: “With him, a very good player and an outstanding personality is leaving the Bundesliga.”

What would Kai Havertz like for Müller in the future? “Maybe he’ll stick around for a few more years and come to the Premier League – that would make me very happy.”

Considering Arsenal’s struggles in front of goal in the 24/25 season in Havertz’s absence, Müller could definitely lend a helping hand in North London.
