"The agent of Bruno Fernandes..." - Fabrizio Romano shares "important" exit update out of Man…

Bruno Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho is ready to hold talks with Manchester United over the Portuguese international’s future at Old Trafford, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed.

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder has been the subject of growing interest from the Saudi Pro League in recent weeks and remains a top target for Riyadh-based club Al-Hilal.

Romano claims Saudi clubs are ‘prepared to pay whatever it takes’ to land Fernandes this summer, although it remains to be seen whether Man United would be keen on selling the former Sporting Lisbon star.

Ruben Amorim is particularly keen on keeping the Portuguese midfielder at the club amid his strong 2024/25 campaign, which has seen him register 39 goal contributions in 57 appearances.

Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, has revealed that Al-Hilal are determined to sign Fernandes this summer and are ready to spend significantly on the 30-year-old:

“The agent of Bruno Fernandes, Miguel Pinho, is back in Europe. He was in Munich yesterday for the Champions League final, following Paris Saint-Germain player Nuno Mendes.

“So that was an important point. Miguel Pinho is back in Europe, ready to have contact with Manchester United and to clarify what could happen with Al-Hilal.

“Al-Hilal are again prepared to pay whatever it takes for Manchester United and whatever it takes for Bruno Fernandes.

“So the conversation Al-Hilal-Bruno is ongoing, but Al-Hilal have been very clear. They want Bruno Fernandes.”

Fernandes is yet to make a decision on his future at the club, while Al-Hilal are believed to be willing to pay Man Utd £100m for their captain and nearly triple his wages.

The Riyadh-based club has reportedly offered a financial package worth up to £200m over three years for the Portuguese superstar, who is under contract at Old Trafford until June 2027.

A departure for £100m would make Fernandes Man United’s most expensive sale ever and would help fund their summer rebuild.

The Red Devils announced the arrival of Wolves forward Matheus Cunha at the weekend and are expected to target another forward, with a new number nine high on the agenda.
