Arsenal are among a host of Premier League clubs showing interest in a summer move for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The Gunners, along with Manchester United and Newcastle, are reportedly monitoring the Cameroon international’s situation closely this offseason.
Mbeumo will soon enter the final 12 months of his Brentford contract and has been heavily linked with an exit in recent months amid his career-best Premier League season.
The ‘unbelievable’ 25-year-old winger has scored 20 goals and provided eight assists in 38 appearances this term, finishing joint-fourth among the competition’s top goalscorers.

Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel, has revealed that Arsenal are monitoring Mbeumo closely ahead of the summer transfer window reopening:
“There are several clubs interested, Newcastle, Arsenal, many clubs.
“So let me say that Man United, Newcastle, Arsenal are all clubs monitoring the player.
“Let's see what's going to happen there for Bryan Mbeumo, but for sure, an interesting situation to follow.”
Arsenal are anticipated to bring in reinforcements to Mikel Arteta’s frontline this summer, with Newcastle striker Alexander Isak also among their potential targets.
The Gunners are coming off an injury-ridden campaign, as both out-and-out strikers Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus suffered long-term setbacks earlier this year.
The North London giants are expected to announce Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi as their first summer arrival, after agreeing to pay the Spanish international’s €60m (£51m) release clause.
Zubimendi will likely arrive in place of fellow holding midfielder Jorginho, who is set to join Brazilian side Flamengo ahead of the Club World Cup.
