It's going to be a busy summer at Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta pushing his core group to its limits last time out.
Arsenal fielded 25 players in the Premier League last season, with only 22 of them starting more than one match or making multiple appearances. A mere 19 clocked more than 600 minutes on the pitch, as the Gunners fought for Premier League and Champions League glory, only to fall short.
Injuries, suspensions and juggling four competitions left them thin on the ground while trying to battle on all four fronts. The task now falls to new sporting director Andrea Berta to address this and find a way to deliver silverware to the Emirates and turn the team from nearly men to winners.
Arteta is keen to better Arsenal's second-best status but recognises that it won't be a quick or easy feat. Instead, the Gunners are gearing up for another summer shake-up. It seems likely to mirror the activity levels of 2021 and 2022 rather than the minor tweaks of 2023 and 2024. With improvements needed across the board,Daily Star Sportlooks at the rumours from the past 24 hours.

Their chances of landing Gyokeres have been given a significant boost by Deco, who has confirmed Barcelona will not be attempting to sign the prolific striker this summer.
"Gyokeres is a great striker who did excellent things at Sporting but we’re currently not looking for that position," Deco said, per A Bola. "We have [Robert] Lewandowski at number nine."
