‘Failure has the face of Walker’ – Manchester City player mocked, just a water spout

Manchester City’s Kyle Walker was loaned out to AC Milan in January, and there’s been wildly mixed reporting on his time there. At points, it’s been claimed Milan would buy him and then at others that possibility has been entirely dismissed.

The right-back played 11 Serie A games and didn’t start in any of the club’s last seven league games, facing fitness problems along the way.

TuttoSport have now looked at the Englishman’s time at AC Milan, while expressing confidence that he will definitely return to Manchester City in the summer.

They claim ‘failure has the face of Walker’ and state that he has not done much apart from attracting attention by spitting water before the start of games and imitating ‘his role model’ Triple H. The wrestler’s iconic theme song was also played during a league game purely for Walker but the performances have been disappointing, despite the special treatment.

There is further mockery for the 35-year-old. The newspaper note that the player was present in Barcelona for the F1 Grand Prix and in an interview he made it clear that staying at Milan is a possibility. For the Rossoneri, there is no chance he’s signed permanently.

Tuttosport also believe gossip around the full-back’s personal life has not been helpful to his situation and Milan don’t want that sort of noise around their players.
