Manchester United have agreed to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha but will chase further attacking options.
Ruben Amorim should be delighted with Manchester United’s start to the summer transfer window.
United have agreed to sign Matheus Cunha, striking a deal to land the Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker for around £62.5million.
United will pay Cunha’s release clause in three instalments, marking a major addition to Amorim’s attacking options.
Cunha is a perfect fit as a number 10 in Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system and has already proven himself in the Premier League.
United still need more options in the final third, but one target further afield could slip through the net.

Paris Saint-Germain move for Manchester United target Franco Mastantuono
River Plate wonderkid Franco Mastantuono has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford.
United were showing the strongest interest in Mastantuono back in April, though River Plate demanded his £38.5million release clause in full.
More United News
United have held talks over signing Mastantuono, but he would only be able to join when he turns 18 in August – and River still want to keep him until 2026 anyway.
The 17-year-old has already hit 10 goals in 61 games for River Plate and is being tabbed a star of the future.
United have, understandably, prioritised Cunha, but could now see Mastantuono move elsewhere.
Fabrizio Romano reports that Paris Saint-Germain are now trying to seal the signing of Mastantuono after being in talks ‘for weeks’.
PSG won the Champions League in devastating fashion on Saturday night, thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in Munich.
Luis Enrique’s side are not resting on their laurels and are now ramping up their move to sign Mastantuono.
PSG know that a number of top European clubs want to sign Mastantuono, but will surely look to use their status as European champions to secure his signature.

Manchester United won’t lose Mastantuono hope
A talented right-sided winger or number 10, Mastantuono could be a star alongside Cunha in Amorim’s United side.
PSG have major pull after winning the Champions League, and especially after showcasing the development of some exceptional young players under Enrique.
United can maintain some hope, though, as Mastantuono may be left wondering just where he would fit into the PSG side.
Desire Doue started the Champions League final on the right flank – where Mastantuono would play – and he was the Man of the Match with a sensational performance.
Doue is only 19 himself and Mastantuono surely won’t want to risk being stuck behind him for years to come.
PSG also have another top young winger in Bradley Barcola, so United may hold out hope that Mastantuono senses the chance to become a star at Old Trafford rather than the Parc des Princes.
