Jorge Mendes behind Marco Silva’s potential big move – Fulham manager will be tempted

Fulham manager Marco Silva has helped bring stability to the club in the past few seasons and he is now attracting attention from major clubs in Europe.

The latest side in question is Juventus, who thought they had the signing of Antonio Conte in the bag until the Italian decided to stay at Napoli. They are now looking around for other options and could seek Jorge Mendes’ help.

TuttoSport have reported new Bianconeri general manager Damien Comolli is attracted by the idea of bringing Silva from Fulham and the Portuguese enjoys some support in the corridors of power, at least partly due to Mendes’ influence there. As a result, the Bianconeri could make contact in the next few days.

Silva is represented by Mendes, who carries a lot of influence at Juventus and that can prove decisive in the Old Lady’s decision making.

The report explains the 47-year-old Fulham manager is also on Tottenham’s radar and Juve have been encouraged by the feeling he would be interested in joining a club competing in European football next season.

Juve qualified for the Champions League in the last game-week of Serie A.
