Arsenal are looking to bolster their ranks with a number of signings this summer

Arsenal will hope to end their wait for a Premier League title next season as they get to work in the transfer market to address their shortcomings in the forward department.

The 21-year-old scored 21 goals for RB Leipzig last season and given his age, he can only get better. Arsenal have also been strongly linked with Sporting CP ace Viktor Gyokeres but he is five years older than Sesko, with both players expected to cost around £70m each.

However, despite the Gunners moving to bolster their options at number nine - fresh reports from Germany claim they are wanting to add more firepower to their forward line alongside the potential signing of Sesko.

Arsenal ‘in talks’ with Leroy Sane

Bayern Munich forward Leroy Sane is out of contract with the Bundesliga champions in less than a month and as of yet there has been no indication he is ready to pen fresh terms with the club.

Both clubs can offer the player Champions League football but the player’s agent is said to be keen for Sane to make the move to Spurs. However, Arsenal are now aiming to complete a deal for the 29-year-old who has spent the last five years at Bayern Munich.

He has experience in the Premier League with Man City and has won the title twice. He has 25 goals and 28 assists in 90 Premier League appearances, showing his ability to perform at the top level in England.

Leroy Sane branded ‘always dangerous’ by Harry Kane

Former Tottenham ace Harry Kane was full of praise for Bayern teammate Sane earlier in the campaign.

Kane told German football magazine, Kicker: “He’s more effective. Leroy is always dangerous, but in the last two or three weeks he has really been consistent. That’s the difference between scoring ten goals in a season and scoring five goals in a season. He’s in good form. You can see his confidence. He wants more. And that’s what we need from him.”

Since joining Bayern, he has made 220 appearances for the club - scoring 61 goals and providing 55 assists. That takes his total goal contributions to 116, averaging just over one every other game.

He is a left winger by trade but can play in a number of positions across the front line. With six league titles to his name in Germany and England, he could also bring that winning experience into the Arsenal dressing room.
