Caoimhin Kelleher is on the move, and he is expected to secure a transfer away from Liverpool.
Last summer, Celtic were linked with Kelleher, before Brendan Rodgers knocked on a familiar door and brought in Kasper Schmeichel.
Added to that, Viljami Sinisalo joined from Aston Villa, so Celtic did pretty well to fill the goalkeeping void left by the retiring Joe Hart.
Since then, Kelleher has continued to play a key role in Liverpool’s success.
He hasn’t been the number one; that’s still Alisson Becker, but he has still filled in and performed very well, including winning the Premier League title during the recently concluded season.
But now the Republic of Ireland international could be on the move.

Caoimhin Kelleher set to leave Liverpool and join Brentford
If Kelleher had joined Celtic, he would have been welcomed with open arms, and he would have proven to be a top purchase.
But it seems as though Brentford will gain from his qualities now, because he is expected to secure a transfer to the London club, as reported by Sky Sports.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
What’s interesting is that it has been suggested that Kelleher will move for a transfer fee starting at £12.5 million, and moving upward of £18 million.
Would Celtic have paid such a fee for him? The answer is probably no, but that starting fee of £12.5 million would have certainly been a talking point.
Kasper Schmeichel and Viljami Sinisalo’s debut season at Celtic in numbers
It proves how strong Celtic’s transfer recruitment is that they were interested in Kelleher, didn’t get him, but still managed to bring in players like Schmeichel and Sinisalo.
Schmeichel has been the number one, and performed so well that he earned himself a new contract months into the 2024/25 season.
When Schmeichel got injured during the latter months of the campaign, Sinisalo was a brilliant replacement, and he has shown the Celtic Park faithful that the long-term future between the sticks is secured.
