An Everton target linked with a move to Merseyside this summer has reportedly entered talks with Leeds United over a free transfer.
The Toffees are looking to bolster their squad this summer after fighting their way out of a relegation fight with David Moyes, but they must act fast if they want to sign one player who has attracted interest from across the Premier League.
Everton are in a good position with PSR, so Moyes will be backed by the Friedkin Group to bring the players he needs in this summer.
Reports have stated that Everton want to improve four positions in the summer transfer, with one of them being a striker. Like many clubs in the Premier League, Everton were linked with Liam Delap but the young striker opted to join Chelsea to play in the Champions League.
Moyes has had his eye on another striker who has already proven he can score goals in the top flight, but a new transfer update has stated that he must act fast as Leeds United have stolen a march.

Leeds United hold talks with Everton target Callum Wilson
Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson has struggled to stake his claim in Eddie Howe’s squad this season due to the exceptional form of Alexander Isak.
The 33-year-old played 18 Premier League games this season, but failed to find the net in any of them. Now, it looks likely that Wilson will leave the Magpies for free this summer.
Everton News was told exclusively last week that Wilson is of interest to the Toffees, but they are now under pressure to deliver as Leeds have made contact with the player’s representatives over a summer move.

According to Leeds Live, the newly-promoted side’s interest in him is genuine and an approach to Wilson’s representatives has been made. No details are known at this point in time on what sort of deal Leeds will offer him.
Robbie Fowler urged Everton to sign Callum Wilson
While he has not been enjoying his best form this season, Wilson is still a player who can be relied on for any club in the Premier League.
88 goals in the top flight and 141 career goals prove Wilson is a top player on his day.
However, had Everton chiefs listened to Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler, they may have already signed Wilson.
After Bournemouth had been relegated from the Premier League, Fowler said Everton should sign Wilson, who was available for £20m at the time.
A bid never came through and he ended up at Newcastle where he has scored 49 goals, played Champions League football and won a major trophy.
