The brass at Premier League outfit Manchester United have forwarded a message of warning the way of their counterparts at Barcelona, over the latter’s pursuit of Marcus Rashford.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/rashford-caro-antony-118070101)**, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.
The name of wide-man Rashford has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the last week.
This comes after the 27-year-old’s agent was spotted in a hotel in Barcelona, awaiting a meeting with Blaugrana sporting director Deco.

Deco and co, it is understood, have put together a number of creative bids and proposals for Rashford, featuring everything from a dry loan to one with a purchase option and a mandatory buyout clause based on certain conditions.
As per Sport, however, the response from Old Trafford has remained the same:
‘€40 million or nothing.’
Barcelona, in turn, have for the time being been forced to go back to the drawing board in their search for a new winger.
