Struggling to find momentum under Ruben Amorim and a disappointing bottom-half finish, Manchester United have cut Alejandro Garnacho’s price tag considerably, causing fans upset.
Manchester United are reportedly open to offers for every player on the squad. United’s leadership appears to be moving away from past loyalties in favour of a more ruthless rebuild as they look to restore the club’s status as a powerhouse in English football.
However, it’s not just the club that’s open to change; some players are also looking for exits. Without a clear tactical identity and having lost to Tottenham in the Europa League final, some players appear to have lost confidence in the club.

According to The Sun, Man United have reportedly reduced their asking price for Alejandro Garnacho from £50m to £40m, triggering widespread backlash among fans on social media.
While no deal has been confirmed, the price drop is part of the Manchester side’s efforts to raise funds and clear space for a major rebuild.
Many supporters have voiced their opinions on X, arguing that the price tag is set too low for Garnacho.
£40m for Garnacho is a JOKE!
Look at other players with less experience and output that sold for double or more!
Even with his falling out with Amorim, £60m is the LEAST we should accept, and I still think he's easily a £80m player pic.twitter.com/cytV2mpPc3

To put United’s £40m asking price into perspective, Jhon Durán moved to Al-Nassr for around £64m in January. In the same window, Manchester City paid £50m for Nico González, a central midfielder from Porto with no Premier League experience.
Compared to those fees, Garnacho’s valuation feels surprisingly low for a 20-year-old winger already performing at a high level.

The price cut is believed to be a response to growing interest from Serie A winners Napoli, who remain keen on a summer move. United are said to be open to a deal if a suitable offer arrives, especially given the club’s desire to raise funds.

In addition to being a Napoli target, Garnacho has also caught Chelsea’s attention. The London club are exploring options for wingers in a busy transfer window.
Napoli will be seeking a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who made a move to Paris Saint-Germain in January. Garnacho’s pace and direct approach would suit Napoli’s attacking system, which thrives on width and quick transitions.
