Who is the most underappreciated player on the Ravens?

The Baltimore Ravens have one of the league’s best rosters once again this season. From Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry on offense to Kyle Hamilton, Roquan Smith and Marlon Humphrey on defense, Baltimore is loaded with star players.

Being a great team in the NFL requires more than just a handful of superstars, though. Championship squads are riddled with players whose meaningful contributions can go unnoticed by the masses.

Today’s Question of the Day is:

Who is the most underappreciated player on the Ravens?

My answer: TE Charlie Kolar

As the third tight end behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, Kolar is rarely talked about when discussing members of the Ravens’ offense. Like Nick Boyle before him, Kolar does the dirty work that does not show up on a stat sheet. While Kolar may not be quite on the same level as Boyle, he has become a solid blocking tight end in the NFL’s most run-heavy offense.

While Andrews and Likely are the star tight ends on the team, Kolar should not be so easily overlooked for what he provides to the offense, particularly in the run game. All three tight ends are entering the final year of their contracts, and the Ravens are known for rewarding hard-working players such as Kolar, so do not be surprised if he is back in Baltimore after the 2025 season on a reasonable contract.
