30 Best Football Teams in the World [Ranked]
Man City, Real Madrid, Liverpool and Bayern Munich all feature as the 30 best teams in world football are ranked by data analysts.

Just making the list is the likes of Harry Kane
Harry Kane
Despite currently playing in Germany and thriving in the Bundesliga, Harry Kane only just makes it onto the list of the best attackers in the world, as voted by his peers in the division. The Englishman earned 2.3% of the vote, tied with Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr, who took a step back this campaign compared to last year.
0.5% ahead of them is Erling Haaland. The Norwegian wasn't at his best for Manchester City this season, but he still managed to score 30 goals for Pep Guardiola's side. Currently the most valuable player in England, Haaland should bounce back soon. One place over the striker is fellow Premier League star, Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian had the best season of his career, lifting the English top flight trophy with Liverpool and finished the campaign as the top scorer and top assist provider in the division. Despite his efforts, he earned just 3.7% of the vote.
The last two players to make it onto the list with less than 5% of the overall vote is Florian Wirtz (4.2%) and Raphinha (4.6%). The former is narrowing in on a move to Liverpool, while the latter just dominated the Champions League, with more goals and assists than anyone as his Barcelona side reached the competition's semi-final.
Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele Come in Next
The forwards are ranked third and second respectively
Moving into the top three, the first player to take home more than 5% of the Bundesliga players' vote is Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman just enjoyed a stellar first season with Real Madrid. While Los Blancos failed to lift any major silverware, Mbappe himself was in fine form and won La Liga's Most Valuable Player award for his troubles. He picked up just 6% of the vote, though.
Just ahead of him is his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Ousmane Dembele. The forward has been in incredible form for the Ligue 1 champions and was vital to their Champions League success. Luis Enrique's side won the competition for the first time in their history this season and Dembele was instrumental in that, being named the Champions League's Player of the Season.
6.9% of Bundesliga players voted him as the best attacking player in the world and he's currently one of the favourites to win the Ballon d'Or later this season. Despite all of this, there's a massive gap between himself and the man who was voted the best.
Lamine Yamal Was Voted the Best Attacker in the World
He earned 53.7% of the vote
Lamine Yamal
Coming in first, with quite a substantial lead over the field, is Lamine Yamal. The Barcelona youngster has been in blistering form since he first emerged into the club's first team during the 2023/24 season and he hasn't slowed down at all. After a stellar Euro 2024, he's actually only gotten better and he dominated opponents in La Liga this time around.
Yamal finished the campaign with a league trophy and a Copa del Rey under his belt and he recorded 43 goal contributions along the way. It was an incredible season for the Spaniard and it can easy to forget he's still just 17 years old. If he's this good already, it's hard to imagine just how much he'll improve in years to come. That 53.7% vote might even increase.
