Dylan Tombides Award winner Preston Fearon has received further recognition for his exploits during the 2024/25 season, being named West Ham United’s Premier League Scholar of the Year at the recent Premier League Youth Development Awards, held at Wembley Stadium.
The award recognises one scholar from each club who has excelled across all aspects of the programme, both on and off the pitch, and served as a role model to their peers.
As captain of the U18s, Fearon led his side to Premier League Cup glory and has also impressed in the classroom. Working towards a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sporting Excellence and Performance (equivalent to three A-Levels) and a Sporting Excellence Professional (SEP) Level 3 apprenticeship, Fearon achieved three distinctions.
