The season was characterised by a struggle to secure their Premier League status, but after Vitor Pereira's appointment in December Wolves' saw the success they were after.
The season began with some very disappointing results under Gary O'Neil with defeats against Chelsea (6-2) and Brentford (5-3) springing to mind, putting Wolves' season in jeopardy very early on.
The appointment of Pereira came with a gradual improvement in team performance and a surge in form towards the end of the season.
Wolves went on an impressive six match winning streak, their longest winning run since the 1979-80 season.
They went on to beat teams such as Southampton, West Ham, Ipswich, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and finally Leicester.
It was Manchester City that ended Wolves' incredible streak with a goal from Kevin De Bruyne, putting an end to their six game win streak.
However, this momentum not only steered them clear of relegation fears but offered a glimpse of a side that was growing in confidence and taking shape.
The season was defined by resilience, individual breakthroughs, and shift in the team that laid the groundwork for a more ambitions future.
After contributing six assists and 15 goals in 33 games, Matheus Cunha became joint highest-scoring Brazilian in a single Premier League season, joining the likes of Roberto Firmino and Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli.
The 26-year-old has attracted attention from other clubs due to his fantastic talent and has recently completed a move to Manchester United.
However, unfortunately his discipline on the pitch has caused him to be in the limelight just as much.
The Brazilian has missed six games across two spells and has received one red card and 14 yellow cards across all competitions.
His talent didn't go unnoticed as he did play a key role in the club climbing the table, where they finished on the same amount of points as United, to get out of the relegation zone.
As an honourable mention, it is only fair that João Gomes' name is mentioned.
Although he has lacked in goals, only scoring three goals and grabbing one assist in 36 games, he has a consistent high standard of play.
He has controlled the midfield for Wolves this season and has really stepped up and been the engine for the club.
He has had his own short suspension for his red card against Arsenal back in January but fans have seen a clear improvement in his discipline.
The 21-year-old has scored 2 goals in 25 games playing from left-back, scoring past Bristol City in the FA Cup and Leicester in their 3-0 victory.
Gomes is known for his hard work and willingness to track back which has definitely been highly valued this season.
The Portuguese youngster is a player with bags of potential and will only blossom more under Vitor Pereira.
Despite facing challenges when it's came to starting, Gomes has grabbed the opportunities when they have came his way, and has provided meaningful contributions from off the bench.
His stats may not be headline-grabbing, however Gomes has comfortably lay down a great foundation for future development. Being able to playing in various positions due to his adaptability, makes him a valuable asset for Wolves.
He will definitely be a player to keep an eye on next season, he seems to be growing with confidence the more he plays and that will only grow next season if he's given more time to showcase his abilities.
An unsurprising choice for many fans, Emmanuel Agbadou has be one of the key players for Wolves in terms of turning the ship around.
After his first debut against Bristol City, his expectations weren't set very high after having a shaky start.
He's scored one goal, which came recently in a 4-2 defeat to Crystal Palace, in the 16 games he's played for Wolves this season since joining in January from French club - Reims.
He has really helped turn the season around as played a majorly key role in their success this season, after he has provided Wolves with the strength and talent at the back that Wolves have seemed to lack this season.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde has really stepped up this season providing arguably one of his best seasons in a gold and black shirt.
Contributing severn assists and two goals, one of which was the first goal in the victory over Aston Villa which was a crucial point in Wolves' season as they moved away from the relegation zone.
During Wolves' unbeaten month of March, Bellegarde assisted two of the goals that claimed Wolves the victory over Southampton at St. Mary's Stadium.
The 26-year-old is a versatile player that seems to have blossomed this season under Vitor Pereira and has been shoes to fill should a replacement for Matheus Cunha not be found.
It may seem harsh to give Matt Doherty the surprise package award considering he is very experienced in the Premier League.
The unsung hero for Wolves this season, knows more than anyone exactly what the club means to the fans as he's been at the club for many years across two stints.
After trying out a slightly new position, he's had a fantastic season and looked assured there.
He's supported the team during a difficult period by showcasing his defensive strength, alongside Agbadou, in order to accumulate points to get Wolves to safety.
From the back, Doherty has scored two goals, one of which contributed to a 2-1 loss against Chelsea, and one assist.
There were a fair amount of games to choose from that was a pivotal point for Wolves this season, however it was the victory over Manchester United which won the award.
The game was expected to be a tight match between the two teams as both teams hadn't had as great as a season as they would have hoped.
Wolves' also rewrote history with this game as they did the league double over United for the first time since the 1979-80 season.
It was fantastic free-kick from Pablo Sarabia in the 77th minute which extended Wolves' winning streak to five games - which was also their longest top flight since 1970.
Although Wolves have scored more goals in other game such as their 4-2 victory over Tottenham and their 4-1 victory over Fulham at the start of the season, it was the victory over United which mathematically secured Premier League survival for Wolves.
