Everton are looking to bolster their attacking ranks this summer transfer window.
David Moyes has identified the attack as a weak point, with the goals really drying up towards the end of the season.
Everton were hopeful of signing Liam Delap, but despite positive talks on Merseyside, he’s opted to join Chelsea.
Nick Woltemade has emerged as a target for Moyes, with the Stuttgart centre-forward enjoying a prolific season in the Bundesliga.
Now, a fresh name has just surfaced and it’s certainly one that’ll excite Everton supporters.

Everton exploring move to sign Aleksandar Mitrovic
Aleksandar Mitrovic was one of the Premier League’s best strikers when he left for Al-Hilal during the summer of 2023.
Mitrovic had just come off the back of a 15-goal season despite only making 28 appearances, and had many of Europe’s elite after him.
But he decided to make the switch to the Saudi Pro League, where he has continued to fire in the goals, netting a whopping 68 times in 79 appearances.

That’s prompted Everton to look into signing Mitrovic this summer, with a £40m price tag mooted, according to talkSPORT.
Indeed, £40m seems too lofty, but if they can secure his signature at a fair price, it’s certainly an exciting acquisition.
Only Cristiano Ronaldo has netted more goals than Mitrovic in Saudi Arabia over the last two seasons, and he’s already proved he can replicate that kind of form in England.
Claudio Ranieri once called Mitrovic ‘one of the best strikers’ in the world
Ranieri has worked with some of the most prolific strikers in football history.
The Italian has managed the likes of Hernan Crespo, Radamel Falcao and Jamie Vardy, so when he described Mitrovic as ‘one of the best strikers’ in the world back in 2018, it carried a lot of weight.
“For me Mitrovic is one of the best strikers in Europe,” Ranieri told Standard Sport. “When I say Europe, let’s say the world.
“When the ball arrives in the box he’s very, very close to the goal. It’s important to give him a lot of chances to score.”
Mitrovic has been prolific in every league he’s played in, with the Serbian number nine scoring 265 goals across his career.
If Everton are to land his signature, it’d be a real coup, as multiple Premier League clubs are after him, including Manchester United and West Ham.
