Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres appears to have confirmed he could be closing in on a move to Arsenal this summer while speaking to former teammate Leo Ostigard on FaceTime.
The Gunners target was asked about his potential next club on a show, and the exchange could delight the fans as manager Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his attacking firepower before next season.
Gyokeres notched 54 goals and 13 assists in 52 appearances in 2024-25 and the 26-year-old could be perfect for Arsenal.
“Viktor, great talking to you. Text me when everything is signed & sorted at Arsenal,” Ostigard said at the end of the clip.
To which Gyokeres replied: “Yeah, yeah, sure.”

It was only a friendly exchange between two pals, but could the Gunners target be dropping a huge hint concerning his future?
It has been reported that he has struck an agreement with the North London club, with only an agreement between them and Sporting left.
Arsenal sporting director, Andrea Berta, is a huge admirer of the Sweden international, but some at the club prefer RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko given his age.
The 21-year-old Slovenian bagged 21 goals during the season and has a resale value should they opt to sell him in the future, which could be good for business.
The Portuguese top-flight club have reportedly turned down a £59 million bid from Arsenal for Gyokeres, and it remains to be seen if they will return with a better offer in the coming days if the claims are true.
