What Man City's valuation of Rayan Ait-Nouri currently is and how much Wolves actually want -…

Wolves fans could well be bidding farewell to another player just days after Matheus Cunha left the club in the form of Rayan Ait-Nouri.

Ait-Nouri is a target for Manchester City, who are now stepping up their interest in the player before the Club World Cup.

Ait-Nouri has been on their radar for some time, and Pep Guardiola’s side are now confident of sealing the deal.

At the moment though, there is no agreement between the clubs.

Ahead of Algeria’s two upcoming friendly matches, Ait-Nouri was asked about the Man City rumours earlier today, but he wouldn’t be drawn too much on the speculation.

But the expectation is that one will be reached very soon, and now there is word on how much both clubs value the Algeria international.

There was always a good chance that Ait-Nouri could go this summer.

He has been at the club for five years now, and the star’s value may not go too much higher if he sticks around – especially after having such a good season in terms of his attacking.

Wolves just sold Cunha for the value of his £62.5 million release clause.

Ait-Nouri is not valued quite that high by Wolves, who are looking for north of £40 million according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

City apparently see Ait-Nouri as a £30-35 million player, so there is a little work to be done.

Wolves, of course, also have to think about the 50% sell-on clause that Angers have on Ait-Nouri.

Losing half a transfer fee to a previous club is far from ideal. But Wolves do have the chance to buy that clause out for around £9.5 million.

The Telegraph suggest Wolves are likely to do this.

Ait-Nouri has said yes to Man City move

Earlier today, the game’s top journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Ait-Nouri has given a move to Manchester City the green light.

It is now just about Wolves and City finding an agreement.

Wolves are now looking for someone to replace Ait-Nouri according to The Telegraph.

Molineux News was informed earlier this year that Hugo Bueno is also a very real option to succeed Ait-Nouri at Wolves, following a successful loan spell at Feyenoord.
