Galatasaray are seeking to squeeze another €5 million + out of the market for their striker **Baris Alper Yilmaz** this summer and WestHam are one of two English clubs trying to close a deal.
Reported today it seems that the decision may be just around the corner: Yilmaz is involved in internationals as his Turkey side have friendlies against USA on Saturday 7th June and Edson Alvarez’ Mexico on 11th June – and a report suggests he’s delaying any decision until those games are out of the way. West Ham have it within their power to stump up the extra €5 million (about £4 million) if they can overcome the reported Nottingham Forest threat. To get a marquee signing so early in the window would be the perfect boost for the recruitment team after Brentford gave the Irons a bit of a bloody nose yesterday.
