**Newcastle United need to add some quality to their squad this summer, but that effort would be pointless if the Magpies were to let their top talent leave.**
The Magpies have no intent to sell any of their top players this summer, and we'd imagine that would go double for selling any of them to a fellow Premier League side.
There will be players who played a significant part in this season's success that will be available, but there's a core group who will be deemed untouchable, and they will be the ones who Eddie Howe has brought into the squad himself since taking over.
One of those players is full-back Tino Livramento, who has gone up another level this season, showing his versatility after covering on the left side of defence after his mate Lewis Hall's season ended early.

Man City have turned focus away from Tino Livramento
----------------------------------------------------
Livramento's form saw him recognised by England, receiving first-team call-ups, and they also seemed to catch the eye of Pep Guardiola, who needs to replace Kyle Walker at Manchester City.
Fortunately, after reporting on Man City's interest, Fabrizio Romano has now claimed on X that while City still like Livramento, they have switched their attention elsewhere.
> "The main targets for Manchester City at fullback positions remain Tino Livramento and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
>
> "Talks to advance soon for Ait-Nouri with move expected to happen, City are very confident as revealed days ago. Livramento, difficult deal as #NUFC hope to keep him."
Newcastle are likely to be tested harder than this at some point this summer
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newcastle paid £32 million to Southampton for Tino Livramento two summers ago, and his impressive form for the Toon will have added a few million on top of that valuation, for sure.
Add to that the fact that Newcastle wouldn't want to sell, Man City have saved themselves a lot of time by switching tracks to Wolves' Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Let's hope that it's this easy to keep our top players all summer. It should be, but we're bound to be tested at some point.
