Giants Being Overlooked by NFC East Rivals?

The New York Giants have spend time becoming one of the biggest jokes in the NFL.

Despite fielding a playoff team in 2022, the organization has struggled to find any sort of success since then.

With what is by some measures the league's hardest schedule in 2025, many people believe that the Giants will have a new regime following the season.

The Washington Commanders understand where the Giants are. For many years, they were in that exact same predicament.

Not anymore, though.

Their trip to the NFC Championship Game has people around the league wondering if a Super Bowl berth is right around the corner. And it leaves them watching some of the division's new quarterback to see exactly where their rivals are.

And where do the Eagles, Commanders and Cowboys leave the Giants?

Maybe as “overlooked.”

New York is hoping Russell Wilson can come in and make an immediate impact on the team. As a former Super Bowl champion, the 36-year-old believes he's ready to turn around the Giants franchise.

"The opportunity here is so great," Wilson said on the 7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony podcast, via NFL.com. "I don't mind the lights. I don't mind that part of it. I think the other part of it for me, most importantly of it all that, is I've been here before."

With Wilson as the starting quarterback, the Giants believe they can be better than last year's horrific roster.

Does that mean the Philly and Dallas and Commanders are overlooking them? If the Commanders can find a way to turn their fortunes around in one offseason, why can’t the Giants?

Yea … Even with a tougher schedule.
