Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres appears to be keeping his focus on his current club amid speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United this summer.
Gyokeres has been eyed as a potential target for several European clubs this summer after a yet another terrific season in the Portuguese top flight. The Swede, who turns 27 on Wednesday, scored a whopping 54 goals in 52 appearances this campaign and it is understood that United have been keeping an eye on him.
Ruben Amorim brought Gyokeres to Portugal and considering the desire to sign at least one centre-forward this summer, a move for the former Coventry City man made sense. However, United are not alone in their interest.
Despite currently prioritising RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko, Arsenal are thought to be firmly interested in the striker. Atletico Madrid have also been rumoured to have interest in him while Liverpool have emerged recently as a potential option for the striker.
Barcelona have ruled themselves out of the running after sporting director Deco confirmed his club were happy with Robert Lewandowski as their main man. With all this speculation surrounding him, Gyokeres would be forgiven for taking his eye off his current club but it appears his focus is still on Sporting.
Taking to Instagram, Gyokeres shared a post by his current club with the caption: "Have a good week, Two-time National Champions." This post refers to Sporting winning the double this season lifting both the league and the Portuguese Cup.

Gyokeres was integral to both achievements and scored a dramatic 90+11th minute penalty to force extra-time against Benfica in the cup final. If the striker was to leave this summer, it is expected that Sporting would demand £67m for his services.
