Everton boss David Moyes could hand an out-of-contract star a new deal this summer according to a new report.
The Toffees have decided the futures of three players already, but several top stars still face uncertain futures at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton are set for a busy summer thanks to their PSR position being strengthened, and David Moyes wants to make the most of it.
The 62-year-old is ready to make several new signings for the Toffees to push them further up the Premier League table next season. Moyes wants to improve four positions at Everton, with a centre-back, right-back, central midfielder and striker the priorities.
Everton are linked with a move for John Stones, with the Man City defender’s time at the Premier League giants looking uncertain. He could be a replacement for Jarrad Branthwaite after he attracted interest from Tottenham.
Despite that, a new report has shared that Moyes is still a big fan of one player which could lead to him signing a new deal on Merseyside.

David Moyes still likes Michael Keane at Everton
After eight years at the club, it looks like Michael Keane’s time at Everton is set to come to an end.
The defender has played 196 league games for the Toffees but is out-of-contract this summer and there has been no news that he will be handed a new deal.
However, the Liverpool Echo have stated that Moyes is still a fan of Keane who has interest from several clubs this summer.
Moyes’ opinion on Keane could see him try to tempt The Friedkin Group to enter contract discussions with The 32-year-old, but club officials do not appear to share the same emotions towards him.
In an interview after the Toffees’ 3-1 win against Fulham, Keane said he wants to stay at Everton, but has not had any conversations about a new deal.

What David Moyes has said about out-of-contract players
Everton have confirmed Ashley Young, Joao Virginia and Asmir Begovic will leave for free alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure this summer. Keane will also follow them out the door if no talks take place between the two parties.
While Everton are set for a big summer, Moyes wants to keep his core group of players at the club next season.
Speaking about the out-of-contract players this summer after the final game at Goodison Park against Southampton, Moyes said: “I’m not saying there’s not 10 or 11 players out of contract at other clubs, but we’ve got five on loan, so we’ve got to give those players back unless we’re going to buy them.
“So it’s an unprecedented situation I see when I’ve come in. Do I really want a huge overhaul? Probably not.”
His comments suggest he is happy to keep players like Keane at the club next season. Although it is not a decision that will go down well with fans.
Everton fans want Keane to leave the club as they believe he is no longer good enough to play at the level they need him at.
