A new update has been shared on the future of Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is out of contract this summer.
The 28-year-old has had a tough few years on Merseyside, and it looks like it will be coming to an end this season after nine years at the club.
This season has been no different for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who has only netted three times in 26 appearances and has show no indication that he warrants an extension.
Despite that, Calvert-Lewin is open to signing a new deal at Everton. He clearly believes that he has more to give for the Toffees and is willing to fight for his place.
A contract is on the table for Calvert-Lewin, and after conversations with TBR Football’s Chief Correspondent, Graeme Bailey, Everton News can exclusively reveal the latest on his future as David Moyes prepares to welcome several new players in the summer transfer window.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin nowhere near new Everton deal
It looks like it is bad news for the England international, who looks like he will be leaving the Toffees this summer if the situation does not change drastically.
Everton have made signing a new striker a priority, so there is a good chance Calvert-Lewin would fall down their pecking order if he were to sign a contract extension at the club.
With less than a month left on his contract, Bailey told Everton News that Calvert-Lewin is no closer to agreeing a new deal with Everton. However, a deal can be done if he wants to stay.

As it stands, Everton are expecting a “parting of the waves” which would see Calvert-Lewin leave the club at the end of his contract.
Regarding possible destinations for the striker, Calvert-Lewin has options in England, but he also has interest from across Europe and even clubs in the MLS, who would be more likely to pay the wages he wants.
If Calvert-Lewin is to leave Everton this summer, he does so after scoring just once under Moyes.
Everton can replace Dominic Calvert-Lewin with Tammy Abraham
With a big summer transfer window in the pipeline, Everton want one marquee signing to move with them into the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Moyes could look no further than Roma ace Tammy Abraham, who looks set to leave the Serie A side this season.
The striker has struggled for form on loan at AC Milan this season and is reportedly open to a return to England this summer.

Everton are interested in Abraham, who joined Roma for £34m in 2021 after winning the Champions League with Chelsea.
The Friedkin Group also own Roma, so that could give Moyes the upper hand to get a deal done for him this summer.
