Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo has decided to join Manchester United amid interest from Arsenal, according to journalist David Ornstein.
The Cameroon international had a fantastic Premier League campaign with the Bees. He registered 20 goals and eight assists from 38 outings.
He is expected to pursue a bigger challenge this summer and Ornstein claims that Mbeumo is prepared to wait for a big-money move to United.
Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are also keen admirers, but Mbeumo favours a move to the Red Devils instead.
United have already established contact with the player's representatives and they are expected to open negotiations with Brentford soon.
Brentford reportedly value the 25-year-old at around £50 million. United could seek to pay the fee over multiple seasons.
A deal for Mbeumo would be a huge statement for the Red Devils, having already agreed to land Matheus Cunha from Wolves.
The club will need to recoup funds for the purchases made. There is a high possibility that Bruno Fernandes could be sold.
