Everton are eyeing a move for former Toffee, John Stones this summer, and Pep Guardiola’s stance on selling him has now been shared.
The defender left the club nine years ago, but could now be set for a triumphant return under David Moyes this summer.
John Stones has seen a lot less game time for Manchester City this season, making just 11 appearances under head coach Pep Guardiola. The Cityzens failed to secure a fifth straight Premier League title this season so Guardiola is now keen to add more players to his squad this summer like he did in the January transfer window.
Everton are interested in Stones and will look to make a deal with Man City this summer, especially after Jarrad Branthwaite attracted interest from Tottenham.
The Toffees want to sign a new centre-back this summer, and Stones could be the ideal player for them as they move into a new stadium and look to push higher up the Premier League table.
Now, a new transfer report has revealed what Guardiola is thinking about Stones’ future with Everton circling.

Pep Guardiola undecided on John Stones’ future amid Everton interest
Moyes is a big fan of Stones, though he did not manage him in his first stint at the Everton.
The 62-year-old now has the chance to bring him back to Merseyside after being away for so long. Everton fans are very keen on seeing Stones back, with some even saying he is still world-class at 31.

However, Guardiola is still yet to decide Stones’ future, so a deal is far from complete just yet.
According to GiveMeSport, Guardiola is still contemplating whether to give the green light and let one of his most loyal players move to a new club in order to make room for new signings at Man City.
The report adds that Guardiola is preparing to make a final decision on Stones’ future, and Moyes is waiting in the wings with the knowledge that he has the opportunity to bring him back to Everton.

What the Friedkin’s want to offer John Stones to secure Everton return
Even at 31, Stones makes a great option for Moyes, especially with the futures of Branthwaite and Michael Keane still unknown.
The Friedkin Group also seem well aware of what Stones can give Everton and are willing to help make a deal happen.
Reports suggest the Friedkins will offer Stones a ‘long-term deal’ at Everton this summer to tempt him into a return.
Everton News was told that the Friedkins want to make a statement signing for their first season in the new stadium. Stones’ experience and pedigree make him an ideal candidate to be that player.
