Steph Curry Turns Heads With Unexpected Personal Statement After Warriors' Season

Stephen Curry came off another successful season with the Golden State Warriors, leading his team to a postseason run.

Curry helped push the Warriors over the Houston Rockets in the first round of the postseason. Golden State then took on the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round.

They ultimately lost 4-1 in the second-round series to the Timberwolves after Curry went down with an injury that sidelined him after Game 1.

After his 16th season in the NBA, Curry sat down for a one-on-one interview, discussing his career and post-retirement plans as he's in the latter half of his basketball career.

During an interview with CNBC, Curry admitted to having "imposter syndrome," a physiological experience where individuals experience feelings of self-doubt and fraudulence.

"I'm human like everybody, you have doubts about yourself, you have impostor syndrome at times, like you have an idea of," Curry said.

Despite being considered one of the greatest players in NBA history and constantly leading the Warriors to seasonal success, Curry revealed his struggles.

Stephen Curry has widely been considered one of the best players in the NBA over the past several seasons.

Last season with the Golden State Warriors, Curry posted 24.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.

During his 16-year NBA career, Curry has helped lead the Warriors to four NBA titles while being named a two-time MVP, two-time scoring champion, 11-time NBA All-Star and 11-time All-NBA.
