Ryan Smith Shares Photos Of Rebranded Utah Jazz Shorts

SALT LAKE CITY**—Ryan Smith, the owner of the Utah Jazz, gave a firsthand look at the team’s redesigned shorts, which will be worn during the 2025-26 season.

“Wow… These hit different,” Smith wrote on social media with a photo of the two pairs of shorts.

The Jazz announced the uniform redesign in June 2024, including the jerseys for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.

The new Jazz uniforms marked a move away from the minimalist black, yellow, and white theme which the team wore between 2022-2024.

The Jazz’s newest rebrand returns to the mountain theme made popular by the team’s rosters in the late 1990s and early 2000s, while still incorporating the black uniforms from their last redesign.

Beginning this past season, the Jazz debuted two new uniforms, including a black statement edition jersey, and a purple city edition jersey.

The 2025-26 rotation will include a white association edition jersey featuring a purple gradient mountainscape, fronted by the word Utah in two-tone white and grey.

The Jazz phased yellow out of its color scheme ahead of the 2025-26 season, with Mountain Purple, Midnight Black, and Sky Blue becoming the team’s official color palette.

The Jazz Note will remain the team’s primary logo.

Kids Got First Crack At New Uniforms

In an effort to have the youth players more closely resemble Jazz’s professional roster, last year’s Junior Jazz jerseys matched the statement and city edition jerseys, and were made available for the kids roster before they went on sale for fans.

The Jazz’s have not announced when the team’s white uniforms will be available for fans to purchase.

Last week, the Smith Entertainment Group announced it had partnered with Fanatics who will assume operations Team Store to offer an expanded selection of Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth merchandise from brands such as Fanatics, Nike, New Era, Mitchell & Ness, ’47, and WinCraft.
