The Philadelphia Eagles have always been forced to recycle through front office executives. That much has been clear since Howie Roseman was hired as general manager back in 2010.
Top assistants to the general manager have found promotions elsewhere as they have received top jobs in their own right.
Then there are the talented scouts who seemingly find promotions to other organization. In their minds, those promotions make it easier to get a top job around the league.
The latest example comes courtesy of the New York Jets.
Veteran scout T.J. McCreight is expected to join the New York Jets’ scouting department under new GM Darren Mougey. The announcement came Monday morning, and is a sign that the team is, once again, losing some top individuals at this moment.
McCreight has been a scout for over 25 years, and has been with the Eagles since 2017. He has previous stops with the Baltimore Ravens as well. McCreight joins a Jets scouting system that has been reshuffled following the 2025 draft with Mougey in his first offseason with the franchise.
McCreight is not the only executive to leave Philly this offseason. Brandon Hunt, a personnel executive, left the team for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Philadelphia has replaced some of these departed guys with league veterans including the return of Jets GM Joe Douglas. As things stand, though, McCreight is just the latest example of the Eagles front office getting poached by teams around the league.
