Bucks News: Father of NBA Draft Top 10 Prospect Reveals Milwaukee Interest on His Son; Is…

The Milwaukee Bucks are going to pick 47th in the upcoming NBA draft, one of the many years their hands are tied in the draft process. They can either get the best available talent, or the ones they need. Or maybe they can go up through trades?

The father of a Top 10 prospect may have provided some clues about the looming move of the Wisconsin team.

Rafael Barlowe of NBA Big Board revealed in his latest article that the Bucks have been talking and working out with a probable lottery pick in this month’s draft. This was revealed by the father of the player himself.

The anonymous father wrote.

“Milwaukee doesn’t have a pick in the first round, not even in the top 10. But they’re asking about my son and wanting to know a little bit more information. They’ve called, and I don’t understand why they have interest unless they plan on making a move.”

Who are the Milwaukee Bucks eying?

Most mock drafts already have Cooper Flagg for no. 1 but he is for sure not going to be traded away by the Dallas Mavericks who got lucky in the lottery and got the first pick. Maybe it is for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

In CBS Sports, other names inside the Top 10 are teammates Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper who have both worked out with the Greek Freak before the start of last season.

VJ Edgecombe, Tre Johnson, Jeremiah Fears, Kon Knueppel, Kasparas Jakucionis, Khaman Maluach, and Collin Murray-Boyles complete the Top 10.

The position that the Bucks have the most need for coming into the 2025 season is the guard position as Damian Lillard is set to sit out most of it due to an ACL tear. However, Ryan Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr. might fill that up already.

Who do you think this lottery pick is?
