GREEN BAY, Wisc. - Former Arizona kicker Tyler Loop was selected in the sixth round (186 overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.

Loop was the second kicker selected in the NFL Draft this year (Andres Borregales), and he is Arizona's first kicker to be drafted since Nick Folk in 2007. In five seasons with Arizona, Loop posted an 83.8% field goal percentage, 39th in NCAA football history. It also marked the best career field goal percentage in program history. Loop finished third in program history in scoring with 327 points over his career, behind Max Zendejas (360) and Art Luppino (337).

Loop was named a Lou Groza Semifinalist following the 2024 season. Loop made 126-of-128 extra-point attempts (3rd in program history) and made six field goals of 50-plus yards in his career with a long of 62.

The senior from Tyler, Texas, attempted the most field goals in a single game in program history (6) against Texas Tech, registering a single-game career-high in points scored (16).

Throughout the 2024 season, Loop was selected Lou Groza Star of the Week twice (11/19 and 10/1), earned All-Big 12 Honorable mention and Big 12 Fall Academic Honor Roll, as well as NFF Hampshire Society honors.

The Wildcats have now had three players selected in the NFL Draft in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2011-12. The 2025 Draft class of Loop, Jonah Savaiinaea, and Tetairoa McMillan follows the 2024 class of Jordan Morgan (1st, Green Bay), Jacob Cowing (4th, San Francisco), and Tanner McLachlan (6th, Cincinnati).

In 2012, the Wildcats had Nick Foles (3rd, Philadelphia), Juron Criner (5th, Oakland), and Trevin Wade (7th, Cleveland) after the 2011 draft class featured Brooks Reed (2nd, Houston), Ricky Elmore (6th, Green Bay), and D'Aundre Reed (7th, Minnesota).

Loop is the first Wildcat selected by the Baltimore Ravens since 1999, when both Chris McAlister (1st, 10th overall) and Edwin Mulitalo (4th, 129th overall) were picked by the Ravens. He is just the third Wildcat selected by Baltimore in program history.

In the last 10 years, there have been 20 kickers selected in the NFL draft. Loop was the 20th kicker selected in the NFL Draft since 2015.
