Fresh reports in the media this week which is claimed CHELSEA are very interested in Everton defender Jared Branthwaite, as they seek to improve that defence over the course of the transfer window.

He has already acquired the services of Liam Delap, but fans are just waiting for the final confirmation to go through. But it seems that they are now looking at adding the talented Branthwait to the side.

The reports claimed that the club are ready to pay £70 million in order to get a deal done for defender and the young star is reportedly very interested in making a move to Stamford bridge.
Enzo Maresca wants to carry on improving the squad and certain areas and he knows that he needs to improve that backline, which caused them serious issues last season, and is an area of the side that he needs to improve in order to close the gap on Liverpool, Man city and Arsenal, who will be the favorites for the title again next season.
