Ex-Real Madrid and Tottenham ace Gareth Bale has dropped a major compliment on one first-team Manchester United star under Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim’s men were on a post-season tour of Asia in the final week of May, only days after the end of their lacklustre 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
The Red Devils managed to finish 15th in the Premier League table after Manchester United defeated Aston Villa 2-0 at Old Trafford on the final day of the season.
United faced ASEAN All-Stars during the start of their post-season tour and the Red Devils suffered a shock 1-0 loss at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium last Wednesday.
Following United’s encounter with ASEAN All-Stars in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Amorim’s side travelled to China for their final match of the post-season tour.
United played the Hong Kong national team in a friendly last Friday and the Red Devils came from behind and sealed a 3-1 comeback win at the Hong Kong Stadium.

Bale appeared on TNT Sports and the 35-year-old Welsh former winger was tasked with building his ultimate footballer, with Casemiro getting the nod for one key trait.

Casemiro saw a turnaround in form towards the tail end of the season and the former Madrid star established his importance in the United first-team squad.
United manager Ruben Amorim was able to turn to Casemiro and the former Los Blancos player became a key midfield influence in the Europa League run.
Casemiro’s experience on the European stage became visible with some of his dominating displays and he impressed United fans with his resurgence.
However, the Brazil international struggled to make an impact in the 2025 Europa League final and United lost 1-0 to Tottenham at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao.
Casemiro, who is under contract with United until 2026, made 42 appearances in all competitions last season and he scored five times and picked up three assists.
