Liverpool are preparing to rebuild their squad for the upcoming season. While many players are being linked with the club, potential departures are also on the horizon.
The Premier League champions have already signed Jeremie Frimpong to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold. The club is also pushing to sign German midfielder Florian Wirtz, with talks ongoing between the two clubs.
Liverpool are interested in 21-year-old Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Reds are expected to place a formal bid soon.
The club is also looking for a forward. French striker Hugo Ekitike is one of the targets, but no official talks have started yet.
Meanwhile, several players could leave this summer. Darwin Nunez is linked with a move away, and Barcelona have also reportedly opened talks for Luis Diaz.

Now, as per reports from AS, Atletico Madrid are interested in Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa.
However, the move depends on Angel Correa’s future. If Correa leaves, Atletico may consider Chiesa as a way to strengthen their attack.

Why Federico Chiesa might consider leaving Liverpool?
Chiesa joined Liverpool in 2024 but hasn’t made the impact expected. He played just 14 games this season and started only four times.
Despite being part of the title-winning squad, he failed to secure a regular place under Arne Slot. The Dutch manager prefers Mohamed Salah on the right. Chiesa’s style hasn’t matched well with the manager’s system, and he may now be out of the club’s plans.
Atletico’s interest in Chiesa depends on what happens with Angel Correa. The Argentine forward hinted at an exit after the game against Real Betis.
He posted, “Today I lived my last home game in this shirt that I love so much,” despite his contract running until 2026.
If Correa leaves, Diego Simeone could look at Federico Chiesa to refresh Atletico Madrid’s frontline this summer.
