"I'm told the Knicks have internal meetings this week to evaluate everything from the roster, different changes they could make around everything, but especially the roster," ESPN's Shams Charania reported. "Whether it's a landmark player that you could bring in there or definitely depth on that bench."
One name that continues to surface is Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The two-time MVP has been linked to the Knicks before, and his future in Milwaukee is uncertain after a third straight first-round playoff exit.
Giannis himself recently expressed his love for playing in New York.
"I love playing in New York," Greek Freak said on the Thanalysis Show. "I think it just brings the best out of me."
While the Knicks might not seem like obvious trade partners—especially after acquiring Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges and re-signing OG Anunoby—SNY's Ian Begley reported that league sources believe it would be a mistake to count them out.

With internal evaluations already underway, the Knicks appear open to putting all their chips in—especially if it means bringing a superstar like Giannis to Madison Square Garden.
After falling to the Indiana Pacers in six games in the Eastern Conference Finals, New York may be one move away from making a real run at a title.
